Recreating the Portrait of the Empress Eugenie Surrounded by Her Maids of Honor (1855)

Best in Show, Costume Con 26 Historical Masquerade (2008)

In which a very crazy group of costumers decided to recreate the Portrait of the Empress Eugenie Surrounded by her Maids of Honor (1855) by Franz Xaver Winterhalter.

Our Goal: to visually reproduce the painting, using as historically accurate materials and methods as possible given time and budgetary constraints.
